1) Question: What is the difference between extracted and dried grasses?
Answer: Dried grasses are various parts of the plant that have been dried at a low temperature and powdered. Extracted or juiced grasses are composed of juice that is pressed or otherwise extracted from the plant, which is then dried at a low temperature.
2) Question: What is the difference between Activated Barley and Just Barley?
Answer: Activated Barley is a pre-sprouted grain that contains beta-glucans and SOD. It is noted for its strong immune supporting benefits related to energy support. It can be mixed with anything including water, juice, or a smoothie. Great for athletes to take or those with immune support needs. Can be mixed with Best of Greens or great with our Plant Protein.
Just Barley is a juiced grass powder. It contains a wealth of chlorophyll, protein, enzymes, vitamins, trace minerals, amino acids, B-Vitamins, and phytochemicals. 3) Question: How is the Just Barley processed?
Answer: We use a low temperature patented dehydrating process and have been doing so for over two decades. Our co-owner, Dave Sandoval, actually worked the land for which our Barley and Kamut have been growing for roughly 21 years. It was farmed originally with alfalfa for four years, before we began planting the heirloom Kamut seeds and Just Barley seeds. We work with the same farmer and his family since we first released the Just Barley.
4) Question: What products are good for Diabetics?
Answer: All supplements should be discussed with customer’s practitioner. Just Barley is certified approved for Diabetics through Diabetic Resource Center.
5) Question: Are our grasses; Kamut, Barley, and alfalfa pulverized?
Answer: Our grasses; Kamut, Barley, and Alfalfa are juiced grasses then low temperature dried less than 88 degrees. Thus it is considered raw by definition. None of our grasses, veggies, or algaes are pulverized when drying to powder.
6) Question: Does Green Kamut cause dehydration?
Answer: Green Kamut does not cause dehydration.
